Facilities

The Bob Rumball Camp of the Deaf is located around two private lakes near Parry Sound, Ontario. Here, campers can enjoy, water skiing, kayaking, and canoeing without the fear of other boaters. Campers can challenge our 25 or 33 foot dive tower or play “Tarzan” on the rope swing.

The property also includes ports fields and hiking trails where traditional camp activities such as baseball, soccer, hiking and campfires are all waiting to be enjoyed. The camp’s main indoor space, the Don Durno Lodge, has a full size gym, assembly hall with performance stage, dining area and sleeping areas. Overall, the camp can accommodate over 200 guests in dormitories, cottages and special need guest rooms.

A year-round facility, the Camp also offers a wide variety of winter activities. We are minutes from the provincial snowmobile trail system and we offer tobogganing, inner tubing, and ice-skating.
